College Sports

Normally I write about things that are going on. Face it, as a nation we are great at watching sports, but don’t exactly get out and participate.

How about changing that for the weekend?

It’s summer, and most of us will have a nice, sunny weekend. So get out there and do something! Instead of watching the game on tv, how about throwing the ball around. Instead of counting down until the NBA tipoff, shoot some hoops yourself.

And if you don’t feel like “just doing it,” then how about getting out in the sun to watch others? Lots of high schools are winding down their softball and baseball tournaments. Walk around the track.

Whatever, get out and enjoy the weekend!
